Part SUV, part truck, and all dream vehicle, the Jeep Gladiator may be classified as a mid-size pick-up, but it’s so much more than that! The best way to think of the Gladiator is it’s a longer four-door version of the Jeep Wrangler, with a 5-foot bed instead of the regular cargo area. Like the Wrangler, the Gladiator is a premium off-road vehicle with a Rubicon trim that comes with fox shock absorbers, all-terrain tires, and a 1-inch lift for the front suspension. You also get two incredible engines with the standard V6 and a 3.0-liter diesel V6 that provides the Gladiator with greater appeal when your road-tripping or going off-road. This new engine is a great way to get the best out of your truck. There are four trim levels available for the Gladiator, and each one comes with some fantastic features. Continue reading as we go over all it has to offer!

Sport

The Gladiator starts things off well with the Sport trim, which comes with your choice of two wonderful engine options. The first is the standard 3.6-liter V6 that kicks out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque which comes with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. Optional is the all-new diesel engine, a powerful diesel V6 that pumps out 260 horsepower and ups the torque to 442 lb-ft, which pairs exclusively to an eight-speed automatic transmission. A five-foot bed comes standard, as does four-wheel-drive. In addition, several fun features are available for the Sport, including a manually adjustable tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, an eight-speaker audio system, and a 5-inch central display. You even get a soft folding top, removable doors, and a fold-down front windshield.

Overland

Next up is the Overland, which builds on everything that the Sport offers with some advanced features such as automatic headlights, power windows, power door, and tailgate locks, heated power mirrors with an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and automatic climate control. In addition, the Overland is decked out in available tech, including a 7-inch central display that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Some luxury features are also available, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel and two USB ports.

Rubicon

Want to head deep into the wilderness? Then you’re going to want to go with the Rubicon trim! It comes with a ton of advanced off-road equipment, such as 33-inch all-terrain tires. But wait, that’s not all! The Rubicon also comes with fenders with increased ground clearance, locking front and rear differentials, and FOX shock absorbers.  Finally, the Rubicon rounds things out with an electronically disconnectable front stabilizer bar, body-protecting rock rails, and a special two-speed transfer case for better off-road gearing.

Mojave

Rounding out the Jeep Gladiator’s trim lineup is the Mojave, and it really shows you what the Gladiator can do as it has a desert-rated badge. It also comes with a reinforced frame and a transfer case tuned to run with four-wheel-drive at higher speeds. Also included with the Mojave trim are FOX internal bypass shock absorbers with hydraulic jounce bumpers, and a 1-inch lift for the front suspension. Several options for the Mojave and other trims are available, including LED headlights, a more extensive 8.4-inch infotainment system, leather seating surfaces, and a spray-in bedliner.
