There are two powertrain options available for the Chrysler Pacifica. The main powertrain option is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that generates 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard but all-wheel drive is available. The second powertrain option is a plug-in hybrid that utilizes the same engine with the addition of a battery pack and two electric motors that creates 260 horsepower and 33 miles of all-electric driving range.
2021 Kia Sedona Power & Handling
One engine also powers the entire Kia Sedona trim lineup. This engine is a 3.3-liter V6 that generates 276 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is the match to this engine and all power is sent to the front wheels only. No option for all-wheel drive with the Sedona.
2021 Chrysler Pacifica Features & Design
There are four Pacifica trim levels to choose from in the 2021 model year. The base Touring trim comes outfitted with tri-zone automatic climate control, a power liftgate and sliding doors, fog lights, rear parking sensors, heated mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 7-inch touchscreen, active noise cancellation, Apple and Android smartphone integration, Amazon Alexa integration, satellite radio, and in-floor storage bins. The upper trims add roof rails, driver-eat memory functions, leather upholstery, hands-free power sliding doors and liftgate, and additional USB ports.
2021 Kia Sedona Features & Design
There are only three trim levels offered for the Kia Sedona. The base trim comes outfitted with automatic headlights, a 7-inch touchscreen, alloy wheels, a 6-speaker sound system, Apple and Android smartphone integration, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. The upper trim levels add keyless entry and ignition, leather upholstery, rear sunshades, front and rear parking sensors, a wireless charging pad, roof rails, a hands-free liftgate, driver seat memory functions, a sunroof, adaptive cruise control, navigation, an 8-inch touchscreen, and a noise-reducing windshield.
