What are the engine options?

While there are many aspects to this truth worth talking about, we'd be hard-pressed to talk about anything before we discussed the powertrain options! When it is initially released, the 2020 Gladiator will come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. This engine has the capacity to produce up to 260 pound-feet of torque and 285 horsepower. Paired with this system is either a six-speed manual transmission or an available eight-speed automatic transmission. The expected fuel economy ranges from 17 mpg city to 22 mpg highway. Later on in its life, the Gladiator will also be offered with a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6. The power produced by this engine is 442 pound-feet of torque and 260 horsepower. The eight-speed automatic transmission that is optional with the 3.6-liter engine is standard with the EcoDiesel.

What is the trim lineup?

The powertrain isn't the only shining part of the Gladiator. This midsize pickup truck is also available with four unique trim level options. The first of these is the base trim, called Sport. Standard with Sport are features like LED interior lighting, trailer-sway control, behind-seat storage in the passenger area, push-button start, in-bed cargo lighting, and a five-inch display. Moving up in the lineup is Sport S. This trim offers power tailgate and door locks, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows, illuminated sun visors, and remote keyless entry. Sitting near the top of the lineup is Overland. This model features two USB ports, two additional USB-C ports, 18-inch wheels, a vehicle theft alarm, all-terrain tires, dual-zone climate control, a 115-volt outlet, a universal garage-door opener, and a 7-inch display screen. The highest model that is offered with Gladiator is Rubicon. This trim includes most of the features previously mentioned, along with cloth seats, and LED center-console lighting.

What are a few safety features?

The 2020 Gladiator comes with over eighty standard and available safety and security features. Some of these features include forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, active braking, adaptive cruise control, rear cross path detection, ParkSense rear park assist, advanced high-strength steel chassis, trailer sway control, and a ParkView rearview camera.
